Your opportunity
As a Retail Manager, you will support the delivery of high-quality services, operational excellence and a customer-centric focus at the asset(s), with an emphasis on driving relationships with retail operators to ensure sustainable and profitable performance that is aligned with the asset strategy. This role will be the 2IC to the Centre Manager and a leader within the asset team at our premium retail asset Broadway Sydney.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Drive strong engagement with key stakeholders (internal and external) to support effective decision making and enable strategic execution, whilst cultivating a customer-centric culture across all aspects of asset management
- Build collaborative relationships with retail operators, community partners, authorities and customers
- Contribute to the preparation and actively work to meet the objectives of the Strategic Asset Plan for the asset(s)
- Contribute to the preparation and implementation of the asset’s income and expenditure budgets, and provide support through continuous monitoring, reforecasting and prudent management of all budgets
- Work closely with retail operators to execute strategic retail management planning, and ensure offerings are maximised at the asset and opportunities are identified to improve sales
- Deliver service and reporting requirements in compliance with Co-Owner Agreements and Property Management Agreements
- Drive collaboration within teams to create and deliver strategic programs that optimise asset positioning and market share, and enhance the customer experience through active marketing, events, activations and capital initiatives
- Work with the Marketing team to maximise sales and traffic, and provide direction for targeted marketing initiatives to work on identified objectives and issues
- Ensure compliance with lease terms in accordance with lease documentation, business unit deadlines and best practice
- Assist internal stakeholders with due diligence associated with onboarding and offboarding of assets when required
- Provide leadership to the asset team to develop and improve their collective strengths, skills and knowledge, while fostering high levels of engagement and performance
- Responsible for ensuring the asset is always maintained and presented to the highest standard
- Act as Duty Manager on evenings / weekends / public holidays as required
- Actively contribute to project working groups across the business that deliver tangible outcomes for the division
- Work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders to ensure system / data integrity, efficient information flow and to drive portfolio wide excellence and efficiencies through consistency of approach, reporting and transfer of experiences and learnings
- Maintain up to date knowledge of trade area, current marketing information and research
- Develop and grow industry connections, and take a lead in promoting Mirvac in the relevant markets
- Champion the consistent application of the key Mirvac values, leading by example and promoting a high-performing and collaborative environment
- Assist with any projects or undertake additional duties as required
