This includes maximising profitability across the region through the creation of an engaged and productive sales team; driving sales; actualisation of positive change and continuous improvement, and providing sound leadership to the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.

The role is key to implementing a culture of achievement and supporting constructive behaviours within the sales team.Key Result AreasBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partnersWork closely with internal / external customers, understanding their requirements, illustrating our capabilities, and promoting the full range of Viridian made to order productsDeveloping and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives, including setting sales targets, forecasts, defining market segments, and identifying growth opportunitiesCollaborating with customers on pricing, contract terms and agreements, and providing market intelligence and trends on competitorsMonitoring and analysing sales performance metrics, such as conversion rates, pipeline management, and sales cycle durationDeveloping and managing the sales department budget, including expenses related to sales activities, personnel, and resourcesProviding coaching, guidance, support and motivation to ensure the team meets or exceeds sales targetsIdeal CandidateMinimum 10 years' experience in sales and business development in a similar roleTertiary qualifications, with a degree in management or sales / marketing highly regardedExperience in developing and management of sales forecasting and budgetsDemonstrated ability of growing sales in a B2B, industrial products, make to order businessExperience in developing customer relationships, revenue and EBITDAExperience in leading and motivating a team, building a positive work environment, driving change and growing the businessStrong commercial acumenExceptional planning and execution skillsSound knowledge with CRM tools and other data analysis toolsExcellent written and verbal communications; influencing and negotiation skillsViridian has a fantastic working environment and embraces full diversity on our sites.
