Our festival combines kid-friendly activities with a rave atmosphere for parents, creating a fun and engaging environment for families. We are looking for a dynamic Event Manager Contractor to manage our mini-tour across Australia and assist with various event-related tasks.
Key ResponsibilitiesRun Sheet CreationDevelop detailed run sheets for each day of the festival, outlining schedules and activities.Ensure all team members are informed and prepared for the day's events.Venue LiaisonCommunicate with venues to coordinate event logistics.Ensure venues meet all requirements and adhere to festival standards.Budget ManagementDevelop and manage event budgets.Track expenses and ensure all activities remain within budget constraints.Ordering and PrintingOrder necessary supplies and materials for the festival.Manage the printing of promotional materials, tickets, and event programs.Prop Ordering and SetupOrder and coordinate the setup of props and decorations.Ensure all props are delivered on time and set up according to plan.Lighting and Sound ManagementOversee the setup and management of lighting and sound equipment.Coordinate with technical staff to ensure high-quality production standards.Production LiaisonAct as the main point of contact between production teams and festival management.Ensure seamless communication and coordination across all production aspects.SchedulingCreate and manage schedules for performers, staff, and volunteers.Ensure all events run smoothly and on time.Travel and Accommodation BookingArrange flights and accommodations for performers and key staff.Ensure all travel arrangements are made efficiently and within budget.QualificationsProven experience in event management, preferably with festivals or large-scale events.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Knowledge of budget management and financial planning.Familiarity with lighting and sound equipment.Flexibility to travel and work on-site at various locations across Australia.Passion for creating memorable experiences for families and children.How to ApplyJoin us in making this festival an unforgettable experience for both kids and parents!
