Pay Range

A$125,191 – A$126,134 per year (UOM 8 grade, 125,191 to 135,504 p.a. + 17% super).

Job Summary

As the Senior Advisor, you will play a crucial role in the University’s Safer Community Program by providing trauma‑informed support to students and staff, leading interventions, and shaping institutional responses to gender‑based violence.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma‑informed support : triage and assess disclosures of gender‑based violence, offering expert interventions.
• Advise and educate senior colleagues on managing disclosures and delivering capacity‑building workshops.
• Manage critical incidents : Escalate time‑critical matters and risk issues, ensuring swift and appropriate responses.
• Drive best practice : Contribute to capability development and align with the National Higher Education Code to Prevent and Respond to Gender‑based Violence.
