And now we are looking for an excellent BDM to help us build and maintain great relationships with brokers in VIC.We believe in the broker channel and we want a BDM that will help make us the best lender to work with!This is a key role within Athena, the position is responsible for : Sales Performance – Responsible for Application results across Athena's Broker network.Being the" go to person" for your BrokersBuilding and maintaining outstanding Broker relationshipsProactively managing a pipeline of Broker scenarios and submitted Application, constantly striving for the ultimate Broker & Customer Experience.Seeking out new Broker relationships, nurturing these relationships until they become vocal advocates for Athena; true raving fans.You are a great presenter and a "coach".Running interactive Broker onboarding sessions to provide in depth knowledge of Athena, who we are, what we do, the Customers that are right for Athena, our product & process.You are very engaging over phone, SMS, email and Zoom.
Majority of the time will be on the road for Broker face-to-face visits, PD days, Broker events etc.Manage relationships with aggregators including partnership managers and state leadersInternal decision making – contributing to discussions in Athena about opportunities and ways to improvePolicy : work with Cyber, Tech, Risk, and other functions to get to effective policy outcomesPlatform : provide feedback and ideas to help ensure that Athena platforms are the best in the marketWho we are looking forYou are based in VIC and have the following attributes : Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar BDM role managing relationships with broker networks and individual brokersAbility to develop and maintain relationships – with brokers, credit teams and clientsGreat focus on sales and conversionExceptional communication skills – clear, engaging, and professionalYou're self motivatedYou're focused on continuous developmentYou're a critical thinker and confident in decision makingAdditional Benefits & PerksInclusive, Flexible and casual working environmentWellbeing program to support your physical, mental, social and financial healthPerks program with access to discounts to everyday expensesFantastic team cultureYou'll be joining an experienced team, passionate about being best in class in everything we do.
