Opportunity

Cochlear is looking for a Manufacturing Team Leader to ensure the smooth transition of new products into manufacturing. This permanent full‑time role, based in Cochlear's Macquarie University and Lane Cove sites, is responsible for leading and developing a team to ensure production schedules are adhered to safely, efficiently, and timely, in alignment with the Quality Management System. The Team Leader will also support accurate feedback to Process Engineering, update training plans, and align team member expectations.

Responsibilities

• Developing positive behaviour in the team by role‑modeling behavioural competencies, policies and standards required of employees, and recognising and correcting unsatisfactory behaviour.
• Overseeing quality of production throughput and organising resolution of quality‑related issues.

Planning and organising work for the team members to execute the plan efficiently through the effective use of standard CMS processes

The team leader will be exposed to ERP and IT tools as well as working with multi‑disciplined teams within Manufacturing such as Engineering, Maintenance and Calibration, Procurement and other shared services.
