• So, what is a day in the life of a Community Support Worker like?

No two days are the same - every day will be different in this fast-paced and dynamic role. For example, as a support worker, some of your daily tasks might include the following :

• Community Support
• Escorting our clients on community outings, e.g., shopping trips, excursions, lunches, appointments, and goal-based activities.
• Transport
• Escorting our clients to medical and allied health appointments, hospital visits, and respite care.
• Domestic Support
• Cleaning, tidying, and changing bedding to ensure a safe, clean, and sanitized environment for our clients.
• Food Preparation
• Preparing, cooking, and serving meals.
• About You
• We are looking for energetic Community Support Workers who value teamwork and are passionate about helping people with various disabilities. We have a vast range of clients, so our ideal Support Worker will be motivated to try new things and explore the clients' hobbies!
• We are looking for Support Workers of all ages to match the differing needs of our clients.
• Experience working with clients on the Autism Spectrum will be a bonus!
• Eligibility Criteria
• Police Clearance or NDIS Screening
• Manual Handling (Optional)
• Drivers License and own insured vehicle
• Have a current or be willing to obtain a First Aid (HLTAID003 or HLTAID004) and CPR (HLTAID001) certificate
• Have a present or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check
• Job Types

Part-time hours : 10-15 per week
