The head office is based in North Sydney, Australia.About the roleVida Glow is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to coordinate and manage all logistics activities.

This role encompasses daily liaison with freight forwarders, coordinating global inbound and outbound warehouse movements, 3PL parties and suppliers, and maintaining stock levels at warehouses both in Australia and overseas.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this role is crucial for ensuring efficient and effective logistics operations.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for contracts with freight forwarders and 3PL parties, including the tender process (when required), service agreements, rate negotiations, KPI measurement, and reporting.Facilitate the clearing of goods by liaising with 3PL companies and freight forwarders, ensuring accurate and timely shipping documentation.Oversee the shipping of goods globally in a timely and cost-effective manner, ensuring the accuracy of all shipping documents.Manage and maintain the transit time matrix.Plan and maintain inbound and outbound deliveries at all warehouses globally.Liaise with warehouse management to ensure outgoing merchandise is packed correctly, efficiently, and cost-effectively.Manage potential claims with freight forwarders and other logistics partners.Work closely with production, planning, customer service, and sales teams to ensure stock control and incoming purchase orders are in line with financial budgets.Report monthly on stock in transit (SIT) and inventory.Collaborate with the Production and Planning team to ensure shipping schedules are achieved.Oversee stock takes and cycle counts with 3PL parties.Manage and maintain import and export shipping requirements, including licenses and tradex.Work closely with the finance team to provide input for the budget.Develop and implement organisational logistics policies and processes.Required Knowledge and ExperienceTertiary qualifications in logistics and inventory management or a related field.3 years of experience within the logistics industry globally, dealing with freight forwarders, 3PLs, and inventory management functions, with a strong emphasis on international freight, export, and import.Strong proficiency in Excel, Sage X3, and other ERP and WMS systems.FMCG experience is highly advantageous.Sound understanding of logistics, inventory management, and stock management.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.High-level problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to demonstrate a flexible working style, dealing with constant change in a busy environment.High level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential.Ability to effectively meet deadlines, adapt, and prioritise.Be self-motivated while being a team player, with the ability to work both autonomously as well as part of the Vida Glow team.Working at Vida GlowWhilst working at our beautifully architecturally designed office in North Sydney you will enjoy : Birthday leaveA generous monthly product allowanceWellbeing program including on site gym and weekly Pilates classCompany funded parental leaveLoyalty leave – earn up to 5 days extra additional leaveAbundance of local cafes and close to public transportCertified Great Place To WorkIf you're looking to be part of a global company leading ingestible beauty, apply now!Vida Glow is committed to creating a diverse workplace that provides an equal opportunity for all.
