Administration Officer–Pacific Clinic
Location : Newcastle
Employment type : Full‑time temporary opportunity for 6 months with possibility of extension
Salary : Grade 3 / 4 – $84,659 – $92,701 p.a. + superannuation and annual leave loading
Working practices : Flexible work practices, 35‑hour week and flex leave
About the role
This role will provide professional and effective administrative support to the Director of Community Services Hunter. The role contributes to efficient and effective unit operations through day‑to‑day implementation and maintenance of systems and processes such as management of business information and data, human resources, finance, travel for the Director, calendars and correspondence including phone, email and written documentation, acting as first point of contact on behalf of the Director.
The role requires liaison across internal and external stakeholders, exercising the appropriate level of discretion whilst balancing competing demands, deadlines and handling sensitive information. The occupant will need to show initiative, proactively tracking, coordinating, and ensuring resolution of tasks and issues to enable the best allocation of the Director’s time and resources.
