- About the role
You will work closely with VPs for MIS to create and implement HR solutions that align with our business strategy. Your responsibilities include leading HR projects in areas like employee engagement, organizational redesign, change management, rewards and recognition, employee relations, and resourcing programs. You will collaborate with HR Practices and Specialists and liaise with experts in recruitment and compensation to provide advice and support.
You will also offer guidance to Executive Management on HR policies and programs and develop solutions for strategic business issues. Additionally, you will contribute to HR practices and policies, drive the delivery of key HR initiatives such as pay planning and performance management, and provide leadership on HR aspects of bids and transitions with external customers.
- Responsibilities
- Working with VPs for MIS to build and implement Human Resources solutions in line with business strategy.
- Lead and deliver key HR projects working with the HR Practices and Specialists as required and on an approved projects basis across areas including employee engagement and culture, organisational redesign, change management, reward & recognition initiatives, employee relations issues, and resourcing programs.
- Providing interpretation and counsel to Executive / Strategic Management regarding Human Resources policies, programs and practices.
- Researching issues and developing solutions to resolve strategic business issues.
- Developing and contributing to the HR Practice, new policies, practices and programs to meet organisational and Executive / Strategic Management needs.
- Contribute to the development and drive the delivery of the HR strategy and key company level HR calendar programs such as pay planning, performance management and talent review.
- Provide leadership and advice to HR stream on bids and transitions with external customers.
- Demonstrated skills and experience
- 10+ years of experience in Human Resources, coupled with a relevant tertiary qualification.
- Experienced & knowledgeable in relation to employment law matters.
- Leadership, project management, team building, consulting, negotiation and facilitation skills.
- Expert knowledge of Human Resource organisational policies and practices.
- Expert knowledge of Generalist Human Resources trends, best practice and future direction.
- Strategic business knowledge and understanding.
- Strong relationship management and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication skills and highly service orientated.
- Knowledge of current employment legislation and Employer of Choice practices.
- Business partnering capability.
- Ability to interact and influence at an executive / strategic level.
