The Opportunity
Review, moderate, respond and close new and existing helpdesk tickets and escalate any tickets that are not closed within a reasonable timeframe
Provide assistance to the National Storage Group to remedy hardware, software and network issues, and project manage specific software and hardware upgrades as directed
Assist with Active Directory User accounts for all employees as they commence employment and manage ad hoc requests
Assist with network security of the National Storage Group Wide Area Network (WAN) and effectively resolve issues as required, including relevant escalations
Assist with centre acquisitions, SiteLink conversions and site implementations as directed. This includes preparing Telco account migrations and productive relationships with external suppliers
About You
Knowledge of computer hardware and software (including Microsoft Operating Systems) is compulsory
Level 1 support experience is desirable
Previous customer service experience
Intermediate or high level of knowledge in Office products such as Excel, Word and Outlook
Knowledge and understanding of Windows Networking and TCP / IP is desirable
The ability to work autonomously and proactively where required with strong written, oral communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to learn, strong attention to detail and adaptable in an environment of improvement
