Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll processes and related administration to ensure smooth and efficient payroll operations.To be successful as our new Payroll Officer, you will have 3-5 years in a payroll position within a similar industry.Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To : Coordinate and process weekly payroll, ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements.Maintain accurate payroll data on HR3, prepare reports, and process salary adjustments, leave, and terminations.Manage deductions, job costing allocations, superannuation, Payroll Tax, and Construction LSL.Facilitate salary transfers, reconcile PAYG Payment Summaries, and ensure timely submission to the ATO.Advise on payroll procedures, compliance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Resolve payroll issues, maintain accurate records, and liaise with management, employees, and HR / Finance teams.The Successful Applicant Will Have : 3 – 5 years' experience in a payroll position within a similar industry (preferably mining).Strong knowledge of award and enterprise agreement interpretation.In-depth understanding of payroll systems, procedures, statutory requirements, and accounting standards.Experience with payroll software (HR3 preferred).Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).Knowledge of superannuation and workers' compensation legislation.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Why Tasman Power?Jandakot location, no commute to Perth CBD!Enjoy a supportive and inclusive office work environment.Salary reflective of your skills and experience.Gain experience as working part of a national company, with opportunities for personal career growth.How To Apply : If you're ready to make a significant impact and be rewarded for your achievements, Tasman Power is the place for you.
