  • The Role

    • An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Payroll Officer to join us at GenusPlus Group.

    Reporting to the Group General Manager - HR, the

  • Payroll Officer's
  • responsibilities will include :
  • Processing end to end fortnightly payrolls accurately and on time
  • Interpreting relevant Award and EA's to correctly process payroll, and configure payroll system rules
  • Assist the resolution of complex payroll queries and issues
  • Manage the provision of timely, relevant and accurate reporting for internal and external stakeholders including statutory and regulatory bodies
  • Monthly and quarterly reconciliation of PAYG, superannuation, and portable long service leave, and other general payroll maintenance tasks
  • About You

    • To be successful in this role you will have :

  • Minimum 3+ years prior experience in end to end payroll processing with high volume, blue and white collar employees (essential)
  • Strong understanding of legislation, taxation and superannuation as they relate to payroll processing activities.
  • Ability to interpret and understand industrial instruments including Awards, Enterprise Agreements and Common Law arrangements
  • Previous experience in payroll system configuration and implementation (highly regarded)
  • Excellent problem solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and a strong team contributor
  • Strong analytical skills and intermediate Excel skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
