What We Need :
The West Australian has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Distribution Administrator who is passionate about providing exceptional support through the management of distribution related administrative functions and contractor relationships to ensure performance against expected outcomes from distribution through to safety. Based in our Osborne Park Print Site office this role is focused on working with our primary and secondary distribution networks to optimise the distribution and sales of the companys newspapers magazines books and promotional products throughout WA.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the management of our network of 200 independent contractors (distributors) throughout WA.
- Provide a high level of customer service to client networks.
- Ensure distributors are complying with trading terms and relevant health and safety requirements.
- Weekly management reporting outlining network performance and cost management to budget
- Manage West Network website updates.
- Manage late paper compensation requests and processing.
- Manage auditing of returns.
- Ensure contractors are adhering to chain of responsibility and other applicable transport legislations.
- From time to time be on call to deal with any production or distribution issues that may affect the ontime delivery of the papers
- From time to time spend time in the field visiting distribution centers and contractors.
- Work with other publishers and parties to secure delivery of other publications and products to grow revenue for the company
- Liaising with Supplies team to ensure correct deliveries made
- Implement continuous improvement programs to drive efficiencies throughout our distribution system
- Participate in the interview and appointment process of new distributors as part of the business transfer process from time to time.
What You Bring :
Distribution / Logistics experience working in a FMCG / business (min 3 years)Excellent administrative skillsAbility to manage client feedback and complaints and quickly resolve issuesOutstanding communication and customer service skills with the capacity to develop strong relationshipsBe a strong team player be highly motivated and a selfstarterPhysically fit and able to lift up to 15kgHave proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word PowerPoint and ExcelPossess a current drivers licenseWhy You Will Love Working Here
