Position Objectives :
The objectives of the Account Manager are to manage customer accounts, develop and maintain strong long-term relationships with customers and oversee sales. As an Account Manager, you should work to satisfy customers' needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Play an integral role in new business strategies and hold responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new clients.
- Responsible for the development and achievement of sales KPI which contains Sales revenue goal, active customer number and new customer number goal, etc.
- A strong focus on generating new business and onboarding new customers to maximise sales and constant growth by calls and emails.
- Maintain regular customer contact with prospects and customer contacts.
- Enter, track and update leads and prospects daily via CRM.
- Establish and build long-term business relationships resulting in completed sales.

Accountabilities
Generate and cultivate business relationships to enhance revenue and profitability, meeting or exceeding assigned sales targets within the designated region or portfolio.Identify and engage promising prospects through methods such as cold-calling, networking, and customer referrals to expand the client base and drive new business.Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients, ensuring superior customer service and high levels of client satisfaction.Develop and implement strategic plans to manage and grow existing accounts, ensuring retention of current business and identifying new opportunities within the portfolio.Devise and deliver tailored presentations to potential and existing customers using a variety of presentation techniques to effectively communicate the value of the company's offerings.Develop and maintain excellent knowledge and understanding of the business, its offerings, competitors, and the industry to inform business strategies and enhance client interactions.Key Skill Knowledge and Attributes
Demonstrated experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needsStrong understanding of the steps of the sale and how to implement to maximise sales and customer retention.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levelsExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to problem-solve with effective negotiation skillsKnowledge of the Solar industry (preferred but not essential)Proficient in Microsoft suite (word, excel)Proficient in G Suite (Google drive, G-mail, G-Calendar)The ability to learn new CRM software and processesrequirements are met and resulting in completed sales and positive customer experiences.Outside of Hours Work Requirement for Sales Team
In alignment with Australia's right to disconnect laws, the Sales Team is generally expected to perform duties within standard working hours. However, due to the critical nature of the role and the need to ensure continuous client satisfaction and achievement of sales objectives, there are specific situations where work outside of standard hours may be required. These include :
Attend client meetings, networking events, and industry conferences that may take place in the evenings or on weekends.Participate in meetings with clients in different time zones, necessitating early morning or late evening calls.Complete sales targets and deadlines, which may sometimes require working beyond regular hours.Address urgent client needs or follow up on important leads promptly, even if this extends outside of standard hours.Be prepared for travel that may occur outside typical working hours, including evenings and weekends.Adjust work schedule to accommodate travel itineraries and client availability.Respond to urgent client issues and requests that arise after hours, ensuring continuity of service and client satisfaction.Coordinate with the sales team and management to address time-sensitive matters promptly.Support sales campaigns and product launches, which may involve extended hours during critical phases.Participate in preparation and follow-up activities for major sales events and launches.We understand the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
