- About the role
Do you have the ability to relate to people at all levels? Are you committed to creating a positive people focused and business outcomes driven culture? We are looking for an experienced Human Resources professional to join our refreshed organisation focused on growing, adapting and improving.
Reporting to the Manager of People, Safety and Performance, the Organisational Development Advisor will facilitate the implementation of strategies and programs relating to organisational change, engagement, reward and recognition, leadership capability and development to meet ongoing and changing organisational needs to facilitate a positive employee experience.
You will be responsible for coordinating major HR projects and developing and embedding organisational development initiatives to support Council's Workforce Management Strategy.
- About you
We are looking for someone with a strong knowledge of change management with experience in the design and delivery of organisational development programs and strategies. You will have exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage with key stakeholders at all levels to achieve business outcomes.
- Essential Criteria
- Degree in Business or Commerce (Human Resource Management, Organisational Development, Organisational Psychology) or extensive relevant experience
- Experience in the design and delivery of contemporary organisational development programs and strategies
- Ability to manage projects, competing priorities, exercise initiative and sound judgement to deliver innovative solutions in a timely and accurate manner
- Strong understanding of change management principles and methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to positively engage with stakeholders at all levels to generate solutions and deliver outcomes
- Well-developed research skills and a demonstrated ability to interpret performance data, prepare reports and complex documents for a range of audiences
- Desirable Criteria
- Knowledge of Local Government and associated legislation
