- A Little Bit About You
To get to the front of the shortlist queue, you should have :
- Strong site supervisory experience within civil construction, infrastructure, earthworks, utilities sectors;
- Extensive project supervisory experience with sizable land developers working with land subdivisions, government and private property projects;
- A background in land subdivision and construction project sites;
- The ability to demonstrate a proven track record of successfully delivering earthworks, sewer, water, drainage, roadworks, communications elements etc.;
- Valid WA Driver's License class C and White Card (must have); and
- Strong HSE / QA understanding and history of compliance.
Your key purpose is to oversee and coordinate project operations in order to deliver within the project program.
You will be responsible for delivering your projects at high quality standards, on time, by ensuring all activities undertaken by employee and subcontractors are carried out in accordance with project specifications, and in adherence with company policies and procedures.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Supervising multiple projects simultaneously and managing construction crews of labourers, drainers, road builders, utility contractors, machine operators etc.;
- Selection and coordination of sub-contractors, organising materials & machinery, ensuring workforce, machinery & materials are in the right place, at the right time, meeting projects' requirements;
- Allocate team member tasks and monitor work to ensure quality standards are always maintained;
- Proactively manage site operations to ensure compliance to all practices, policies, procedures and in accordance with statutory and local Shire regulations;
- Lead pre-start meetings and oversee machinery pre-start checks; and
- Any other site leadership requirements that may arise.
