About the role

This is a newly created hybrid role is perfect for homecare workers who are looking for a more office-based work, as a Homecare support worker, you will be providing one on one support to elderly members of our community to live more fulfilling and independent lives by providing person-centered care 1 day a week with the remaining 3 days functioning as a Workforce Administrator. You will provide company support with a wide array of functions such as :

Personal care (dressing, assist in drying and transfers)

Transportation to and from appointments

Maintaining a sanitary living environment

Handling a case load of up to 70 homecare support workers

Processing leave requests

Facilitation of VMCH inductions

About you

You have a passion for caring for the older members of our community and their families while making a difference to someone's everyday life. You have clear communication skills to support client engagement and a desire to assist clients in reaching their independence goals. You are tech savvy and have proven experience in programs such as Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Word etc.

• Requirements of the role

Must have 5 days availability Monday to Friday

Certificate III in Aged Care, Community Services or equivalent

Proficient in using technology

Have a Victorian driving license and car
