Job descriptionFacilitate end-to-end procurement processes, including advice, industry engagement, approach to market, evaluation, and contracting, in compliance with the Commonwealth procurement framework, rules, and policies; Partner with business areas to provide high-level advice, guidance, governance, and to improve procurement practices and outcomes; Develop, coordinate, and lead procurement activities to establish supply arrangements that meet business needs; Plan and support contract negotiations to establish and review supply arrangements, delivering value-for-money procurement outcomes; Identify, manage, and mitigate procurement risks appropriately; Document procurement processes, decisions, and contractual arrangements to ensure audit and probity trail; Support and apply the Digital Transformation Agency's Digital Sourcing Framework and procurement strategies. Demonstrated experience in end-to-end procurement, including advice, industry engagement, approach to market, evaluation, and contracting; Experience managing contract renewals and extensions for hardware, labour hire, professional services, and software licensing renewals and true-ups (e.g., Microsoft Volume Sourcing Arrangement, Adobe ETLA).

Our client, a federal government department, is seeking multiple ICT Procurement and Contract Managers to handle procurement analysis and manage contract negotiations. You will oversee one or multiple procurements, working with the Assistant Director ICT Procurement and Contract Management to ensure timely, within-budget, and quality delivery. Establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation, and issue management is essential to ensure procurement activities are completed on schedule.
