Owing to the Balfour Meagher's continued growth and reputation, we’re seeking another excellent Senior Commercial and / or Corporate Lawyer to join our already amazing team of experienced commercial & corporate lawyers.
About You

- 5 years+ post admission experience in either commercial, property, corporate, estate planning or several of those areas
- Current Western Australian legal experience and are also practising / located in WA
- Self-sufficient and autonomous (computer literate with Microsoft Office365 and electronic legal practice management systems)
- Excellence in client service; including face-to-face meetings, online as well as contemporary, written communication skills
- Relishes regular collegiate conferrals & mentoring as well as practical legal / contemporary business skills’ development - working with only experienced senior commercial lawyers and directors
- Perhaps looking for a different yet more fulfilling professional pace; including a much better & more flexible approach than larger and older‑style firms allow
Responsibilities
Commercial matters (contract reviews, bespoke drafting of contracts, agreements & deeds, hire arrangements, loans and securitisation / PPSR / mortgages)Property and leasing - reviews & drafting, conveyancing, securitisation, property sale and developmentCorporate (substantial business sales / purchases, large scale M&As / company transactions, asset structuring and ownership, business succession e.g. shareholder, partnership and unitholder agreements)Estate planning matters (complex estate planning dealing with Wills, trusts, SMSFs etc)Niche advice on IP commercialisation, technology law, specialist healthcare and allied services; complex business real property‑into‑SMSF transactions, legal training & seminar providers etc.Benefits
