McIver Collegeis seeking an experiencedTrainer & Assessor for Certificate IV in Kitchen Managementand HospitalityManagementqualifications to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis working with international students.Please note : This may require you to work on weekends.About the RoleYour daily duties will include but not be limited to :
- Provide high quality course relevant information to enrolled students
- Plan, develop, and deliver training programs for students enrolled in the Certificate IV in Kitchen Management & Diploma of Hospitality Management courses
- Participate in the preparation and maintenance of teaching resources and learning materials
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and assessment in accordance with McIver College policies and procedures
- Monitoring student progress, providing appropriate feedback to students where required
- Undertake teaching related administrative duties, including accurate recording of student rolls
- Participating in professional development programs, meetings, and other activities organised for staff
- Reporting any non-compliance with OH&S, EEO or any other statutory regulations to the Manager as soon as practical first aid treatment when necessary
- About You
As an integral member of staff you'll bring your industry experience along with :
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with hospitality industry (Chef, Hotel Manager, etc.)
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or above
- Relevant industry qualification or equivalent
- Intermediate computer literacy
- Clear and effective communication & interpersonal skills
- Excellent time-management & organisational skills
- Full Australian working rights
- Prepared to work on allocated sessions including weekends
