Functional Analyst - Organisational Design (Public Sector)
As a Functional Analyst specialising in organisational design within the public sector, you will play a critical role in shaping the structure, accountabilities, and responsibilities of various business units. Your work will directly impact the efficiency, effectiveness, and overall success of the organisation.
Responsibilities :
Collaborate with stakeholders, including the Program Manager, to understand existing organisational structures, processes, and roles. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement. Gather data on current accountabilities and responsibilities across different business units.
Document existing organisational structures, including reporting lines, roles, and responsibilities. Work closely with cross-functional teams to design future organisational structures that align with strategic goals. Create clear and concise documentation outlining proposed changes and their impact.
Ensure that accountabilities and responsibilities are clearly defined for each role within the organisation. Collaborate with business unit leaders to align roles with specific functions and objectives. Develop frameworks for measuring performance and accountability.
Utilise Microsoft tools (such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) for data analysis, documentation, and reporting. Proficiency in Visio is essential for creating visual representations of organisational structures.
Work with the Program Manager to develop long-term organisational plans. Anticipate future needs and design structures that can adapt to changing requirements.
