We are seeking a full-time Payroll Officer to take responsibility for the payroll function for the group. Whilst the role is payroll focused, it will suit someone who would also love the variety of assisting the Finance team on other tasks, such as accounts payable, until the role grows with the company into a full-time payroll role. Given the requirements of the role - this opportunity will ideally suit someone with at least two years of payroll experience. However – for the right person – a little less experience with the willingness to learn and right skill set will be considered!

About The Role

As Payroll Officer your role will be focused on :

• Payroll processing of end-to-end payroll for all four sites, with diligence and ensuring delivery within scheduled deadlines.
• Responsible for accurate data entry and inputting information with minimal error.
• Reconciliations of timecards, and running reports as required.
• Processing Payroll Tax, PAYG, and Superannuation.
• Assist with payroll checking, identifying, and communicating errors.
• Ensuring employee and system information is correct and maintained.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll activities.
• Liaising with various stakeholders, communicated via phone or email in a professional manner.
• Meeting compliance and company policies, whilst ensuring to follow procedures and accurately meeting deadlines.
