This role is a key operational role primarily responsible for :
Day to day stock management including; planning, executing, recording and reconciling physical and book product movements
Reporting on customer product inventory and allocations
Maintenance of carriers, drivers and vehicles data in the Terminal Automation System (Fuel Facs)
Maintaining key operational data for terminal and customer KPI reporting
Point of contact for customer and logistics related enquiries
Customer complaint handling (as required) Assuming the role of Stock Controller for stock reconciliation and reporting (as required).
Take a pro-active interest in safety matters
Perform the monthly safety observation and trust and verify reviews
Have a solid understanding of the Vopak Fundamentals
Sell the Vopak Fundamentals and safety standards to stakeholders
Take ownership of relevant Management of Change process related to safety matters
Understand and support the THA requirements
Ensuring the prevention of pollution
Preventing harm to the environment
Comply with applicable environmental regulations
Improving the sustainability of the organisation by reducing energy usage and waste production
Continuously striving to identify and implement environmental & sustainability initiatives 2 Customer Service Management
Provide excellent customer service
Point of contact for customers and terminal operational teams outside hours to support 24 / 7 business environment (as required)
Provide feedback to customers based on observed product trends, product levels, product movements and product quality
Respond to customer operational queries and issues
Provide solutions for customer logístical challenges
Provide feedback to customers on site operations where required
Provide feedback as required for customer complaint management
Proactively communicate with customers (shutdowns, delays etc)
Prepare, coordinate, present and follow-up on customer Operational Review Meetings (as required)
Manage customer complaint process
Monitor customer inventories and work proactively with the Customer Planning Coordinator to manage customer stock levels
General customer enquiries regarding product levels, order maintenance and Fuel Facs data
Maintain thorough working knowledge of Vopak customer storage and handling agreements
Collect and maintain records of all applicable customer operational activities 3 TAS Data Management (Fuel Facs)
Administer new carriers, drivers and vehicles onsite
Maintain carrier, vehicle and driver records
Periodically reconcile carriers, vehicles and drivers in the TAS with customers and carriers
Maintain customer product inventories, entitlements and allocations in Fuel Facs (Open Order Management and troubleshooting).
