About the opportunity

As a Contract Administrator , you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Inland Rail Project Delivery Team. You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day administration of contract documents, ensuring compliance, accuracy and efficiency across all contractual matters.

Key responsibilities

• Administer contracts efficiently, including payment reviews and authorisations.
• Monitor and implement processes to ensure contractual compliance.
• Assess and manage contract variations, disputes and claims.
• Liaise with Legal Counsel on complex contractual matters.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks.
• Ensure receipt and accuracy of insurances and securities.
• Maintain commercial registers and ensure timely documentation.
• Support month‑end reporting with accurate cost forecasts.
• Uphold ethical standards and probity across all contract functions.
• Ensure compliance with Inland Rail’s policies, IMS, EMS and CARE values.
• Foster collaborative relationships and contribute to a respectful, inclusive workplace.
